Police in Ohio seek public’s help identifying theft suspect

OHIO — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man accused of stealing more than $1,300 worth of merchandise from the Walmart on Pentagon Boulevard.

The incident occurred on Sunday, April 6, according to a social media post from the Beavercreek Police Department.

Authorities say the man left the store without paying and dropped over $200 worth of items as he exited, which were later recovered.

He reportedly loaded the remaining merchandise into a black SUV with the help of another man before leaving the parking lot.

Police have released photos of the suspect and the vehicle involved.
