OHIO — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a motorcyclist who fled from officers at a high rate of speed while carrying a child passenger.
According to the Richmond Heights Police Department, the rider was operating an orange and black motorcycle when officers attempted a traffic stop.
Instead of pulling over, the motorcyclist took off, endangering both the child and others on the road.
Authorities are now hoping someone recognizes either the bike or the rider. “We’d like to have a word with him,” police said in a statement.
Anyone with information is asked to call Richmond Heights Police at 216-486-1234.
