Police in Ohio searching for missing person believed to be in crisis

OHIO — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 46-year-old Robert Crisp, whose vehicle was found May 11 in the area of Northwoods Boulevard.

Crisp, who lives in Miami Township, has been entered as a missing adult.

Authorities believe he may be experiencing a mental health crisis and could be armed.

He was possibly seen on surveillance footage in Butler Township near Old Springfield Road, according to Vandalia Police.

Crisp is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing 245 pounds, and may be wearing long pants and a long-sleeved jacket or shirt.

Police urge anyone who sees someone matching Crisp’s description to call 911 immediately and not to approach him.
