OHIO — A police chase that began in Montgomery County Thursday morning ended in a crash on Interstate 75 in Miami County, according to authorities.
The pursuit started shortly before 11 a.m. on surface streets in Montgomery County before the suspect vehicle entered northbound I-75.
Cameras from the Ohio Department of Transportation showed a heavy police presence, with at least a dozen officers from multiple jurisdictions involved in the chase.
The pursuit continued into Miami County and ended in a crash near State Route 41 in Troy.
As of Thursday afternoon, at least two lanes of northbound I-75 remain blocked as crews respond to the scene.
