GEORGIA — A police chase ended with an arrest Sunday at a Dollar General store in Fulton.
The incident began on Cobb Stump Road when Itawamba County sheriff’s deputies observed a pickup truck being driven carelessly and attempted to pull the driver over.
The vehicle fled into Fulton and came to a stop at the Dollar General on South Adams Street.
The driver, 48-year-old David McCoy of Fulton, exited the truck and attempted to force his way into the store. An employee who tried to lock the door sustained minor injuries.
Law enforcement officers subsequently captured McCoy inside the store.
