Police attempting to identify theft suspects in Ohio

OHIO — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying two men accused of stealing hundreds of dollars worth of hygiene products from a local Kroger.

According to Kettering police, the thefts happened on Aug. 28 at the East Stroop Road store.

Investigators said the men took about $500 worth of deodorant, body wash, and facial cleansers. The thefts occurred within 10 minutes of each other.

In a social media post Thursday, police added a lighthearted note: “P.S. If you happen to see anyone selling an oddly large amount of hygiene products for a good price, let us know…”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Douglas at 937-296-2555.
