OHIO — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman accused of taking money that another customer accidentally left at a Walmart self-checkout.

According to the Beavercreek Police Department, the incident occurred on Oct. 19 at the Walmart located at 3360 Pentagon Blvd.

Investigators say the woman allegedly took $81.36 in cash left behind by another shopper at the register.

Anyone who recognizes the woman or has information about the case is asked to contact Officer Klei at 937-426-1225 ext. 155 or by email at kleim@beavercreekohio.gov.
