OHIO — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects involved in an aggravated burglary that occurred on Orlando Avenue last month.

According to the Akron Police Department, officers responded to a home in the 1000 block of Orlando Avenue around 5 a.m. on August 18.

The victim told investigators she had been asleep in her bedroom when two unknown men woke her at gunpoint around 3 a.m.

Police said one suspect was dressed in all black, while the other may have been wearing a black and gray Columbia sweatshirt. Both were reported to be wearing surgical-style masks.

On September 8, APD released surveillance photos of the suspects, urging residents to review the images closely.

“If you see the suspects, consider them ARMED and DANGEROUS!” police warned. “Do NOT approach; call 911.”
