KENTUCKY — The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office says thefts and burglaries are on the rise in the area and is urging residents to stay alert.
One of the most recent incidents occurred on September 2, when the Taco Bell off West Cumberland Gap Parkway, about 10 miles south of London, was burglarized.
Deputies said two suspects stole an undisclosed amount of money and were caught on camera walking toward the interstate after the crime.
Investigators are asking for help identifying the suspects. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the sheriff’s office. Tips can be submitted anonymously and will be kept confidential.
Officials also urged citizens to secure valuables, stay proactive, and report suspicious activity immediately as the investigation continues.
