KENTUCKY — A pickup truck driver died following a crash Thursday morning on Dixie Highway, according to the Louisville Metro Police Department.
Officers responded to the collision around 7:40 a.m. at the intersection of Dixie Highway and Trent Avenue.
Investigators said a Ford pickup truck struck the rear of a utility bucket truck while both vehicles were traveling southbound and stopped at a traffic light.
The driver of the pickup truck was taken to UofL Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. No other injuries were reported.
The department’s traffic unit is continuing to investigate the crash.
