PENNSYLVANIA — Several school districts across Pennsylvania announced delayed starts for Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, affecting students in northern and southeastern parts of the state.
Northeast Bradford School District reported a two-hour delay for Friday morning. Forest Area School District, which serves Forest and Tionesta, also announced a two-hour delay.
In northwestern Pennsylvania, Titusville Area School District in Crawford County said schools would open two hours late Friday.
In southeastern Pennsylvania, Perkiomen Valley School District in Montgomery County also announced a two-hour delayed opening. District officials said the delays were put in place to allow additional time for road conditions to improve and for staff to safely prepare school buildings before students arrive.
Parents and guardians were encouraged to monitor official district communication channels for any additional updates or changes throughout the morning, particularly regarding bus schedules and after-school activities.
