
PENNSYLVANIA — Dover Area Middle School was evacuated Thursday morning after a suspicious package was discovered on campus, according to officials.
Students were moved to Dover Area High School shortly before 9 a.m., said Ted Czech, public information officer for the York County Office of Emergency Management.
Authorities are currently investigating the package. Police blocked nearby roads while directing traffic as parents arrived at the high school to pick up their children.
Officials have not released additional details about the package or whether any threat was confirmed.
The situation remains under investigation, and updates are expected as more information becomes available.
