SOUTH CAROLINA — The Oconee County coroner responded to a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 85 South early Tuesday morning.
The South Carolina Department of Transportation said the crash happened around 6 a.m. near Exit 2, close to the Georgia-South Carolina state line.
As of 10 a.m., all southbound lanes in the area remained blocked.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the crash involved four vehicles and a tractor-trailer.
No additional details have been released.
