
PENNSYLVANIA — A truck crash has caused significant traffic delays Monday morning along Interstate 79 in Allegheny County.
The crash occurred in the southbound lanes of I-79 just past the Heidelberg area. Traffic camera images from PennDOT showed the truck on its side with its contents spilled into the median.
According to Allegheny County dispatchers, the driver was able to get out of the vehicle and was being evaluated at the scene by first responders.
The cause of the crash has not been determined.
Motorists are advised to expect delays in the area as crews work to clear the scene.
