
PENNSYLVANIA — Traffic is restricted on a portion of Interstate 79 southbound in Allegheny County after a vehicle crashed over a guardrail Tuesday morning.
According to Allegheny County 911, the crash occurred on I-79 southbound near Exit 55 and was reported at approximately 10:07 a.m.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation 511 traffic map indicated a lane restriction was in place in the area, resulting in slowed traffic.
Officials have not released details on how many people were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. No additional information was immediately available.
