PENNSYLVANIA — A tractor-trailer rollover crash has reduced northbound traffic on Interstate 79 to a single lane Monday morning in Allegheny County.

According to PennDOT, the crash occurred just south of Exit 64, near the Route 51 interchange serving Coraopolis and McKees Rocks. The truck rolled over, blocking lanes and causing traffic restrictions during the morning commute.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene and remain there as crews work to manage traffic and assess the situation. Authorities had not released information about possible injuries as of late Monday morning.

The incident prompted lane closures on northbound I-79 while crews worked to clear the crash and ensure the roadway was safe. Drivers are advised to expect delays in the area.

PennDOT and local officials said the situation remained under investigation and that traffic conditions could change as cleanup efforts continued.
