OHIO — A portion of Interstate 75 in Cincinnati was shut down after a semi-truck overturned along the highway, according to transportation and emergency officials.

The Ohio Department of Transportation reported that I-75 southbound near Mitchell Avenue was closed due to the overturned semi. In addition, the left lane of I-75 northbound was also closed at the crash site.

Officials with the Cincinnati Fire Department said minor injuries were reported as a result of the crash. No further details about the injured individuals were immediately released.

ODOT said the closure is expected to last for some time while crews work to clear the scene and reopen the roadway. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and expect delays in the area.
