INDIANA — Traffic on the west side of Indianapolis has been brought to a standstill after a semi caught fire along Interstate 465.
According to traffic reports, the northbound lanes of I-465 (Westside) are closed between Rockville Road/Exit 13 and 10th Street/Exit 14. The closure has caused traffic to back up to Washington Street/Exit 12.
Officials describe the current severity level as extreme, with average speeds between 0 and 10 miles per hour in the affected area.
