FLORIDA — A major crash caused significant traffic disruptions along Interstate 4 in Orlando after multiple eastbound lanes were shut down near Florida’s Turnpike.
According to traffic officials, three eastbound lanes of I-4 were closed after Universal Boulevard, just before the interchange with Florida’s Turnpike.
The closures followed a crash in the area, though no immediate details about injuries or the cause of the crash were released.
Drivers traveling eastbound were still able to get through the area using the left lane, but traffic was reported to be slow as a result of the lane closures. Motorists were advised to use the I-4 eastbound express lanes as an alternate route to avoid delays.
Authorities continued to manage the scene and urged drivers to use caution while traveling through the area.
