TENNESSEE — A crash involving a tractor-trailer caused traffic delays Tuesday morning on Interstate 26 near the Interstate 81 interchange in Kingsport, according to officials.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation reported the crash occurred around 10:13 a.m. on I-26 eastbound near mile marker 8.4.
Traffic camera images from TDOT showed a tractor-trailer stopped in the roadway with another vehicle positioned perpendicular to it.
As of around 10:40 a.m., the eastbound left lanes of I-26 were closed, and a southbound exit ramp on I-81 was also shut down due to the crash.
No information about injuries has been released.
Motorists were advised to expect delays in the area as crews responded to the scene.
