
LOUISIANA — A vehicle fire caused traffic disruptions Wednesday afternoon along Interstate 110 southbound near the Airline Highway exit.
According to reports, a car caught fire on the interstate, prompting an emergency response from firefighters. Images from the scene showed heavy smoke billowing from the vehicle as crews worked to extinguish the flames.
The incident forced the closure of two lanes, leaving only the left lane open to traffic. Drivers in the area experienced delays as emergency personnel remained on scene.
Authorities have not yet released information regarding possible injuries, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
