MICHIGAN — More than 116,000 customers across Michigan are without electricity as of Monday morning, according to data from PowerOutage.com.

The outage tracking site reported 116,291 customers without power statewide out of approximately 5.07 million customers being monitored.

Outages are concentrated in several areas of the state, particularly across parts of northern and central Michigan, where outage percentages were higher than in southern regions.

Clare County reported the highest number of outages, with 15,091 customers without power.

Marquette County followed with 10,696 outages, while Mecosta County reported 7,053 customers affected. Isabella County had 5,772 outages, and Osceola County reported 4,804. In southeast Michigan, Oakland County recorded 4,744 customers without power. Manistee County had 4,552 outages, and Wexford County reported 3,894 customers without electricity.

Utility crews were working to restore service across the affected areas, though no estimated restoration times were immediately available. Officials advise residents to report outages directly to their electric utility providers and to use caution around downed power lines. Outage numbers may change as restoration efforts continue and additional outages are identified.
