GEORGIA — A woman was injured Wednesday morning in a shooting at a Marathon gas station on Middleground Road, prompting a heavy police response.
Authorities say the incident occurred around 11 a.m. at the gas station in the 12000 block of Middleground Road.
The woman was transported to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Police report that an adult male suspect has been taken into custody and a weapon was recovered at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
