TEXAS — A 26-year-old woman was found dead early Sunday after a shooting at a home in the Crosby area, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 4:15 a.m. to a reported shooting in progress in the 3000 block of Kennings near Bohemian Hall Road.
When deputies arrived, they found the woman suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Deputies said the woman had been staying at the home for the past three weeks.
Authorities said the man who called 911 did not provide descriptions of the attacker or attackers. Detectives planned to interview him later Sunday morning.
