DAYTON — One person was hospitalized following a shooting in Dayton late Sunday morning.
Around 11:30 a.m., Dayton police and medics responded to reports of a man shot in an alley on the 3300 block of West Second Street.
Upon arrival, emergency crews found the victim and transported him to a local hospital, according to a sergeant with Montgomery County Regional Dispatch.
Details about the victim’s condition and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear.
Authorities have not released any additional information as the investigation continues.
