One person sent to hospital following crash on Ohio interstate

OHIO — A driver was hospitalized with minor injuries following a single-vehicle crash on I-75 early Sunday morning.

Emergency crews were dispatched to the southbound lanes of I-75 between Northwoods Boulevard and National Road around 3:50 a.m. after reports of the crash.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The Vandalia Division of Fire confirmed on social media that the car caught fire following the crash.

No further details about the driver or the cause of the crash were immediately available.
