
TEXAS — A woman was detained following a stabbing that left a man critically injured early Saturday morning in San Antonio, according to police.
The San Antonio Police Department said the incident occurred just before 4 a.m. in the 700 block of Peabody Avenue on the city’s Southwest Side.
Officers said a 40-year-old man was found with multiple stab wounds to his upper body. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition for treatment.
According to a preliminary report, a 22-year-old woman fled the scene after the stabbing but later returned, where officers made contact with her and detained her.
No additional details have been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
