NORTH CAROLINA — Chapel Hill police are investigating a shooting that occurred Thursday evening near the intersection of Franklin and Graham streets.
Officers responded to the scene just before 6:15 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire.
When they arrived, police found a person who had been shot. The victim was transported to UNC Hospital, but their condition has not been released.
Authorities said one person has been arrested in connection with the incident. Police have not yet released the names of those involved.
The investigation remains ongoing.
