Corey Williams was taken into custody and charged with negligent injuring and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile following the incident on Ozark Street.
Police said officers responded around 8:30 p.m. to reports of a 17-year-old boy suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound near the area of Ozark Street and Winbourne Avenue. The teen was transported to a hospital in critical condition.
