OHIO — A male teenager was injured Monday evening in a shooting on the West Side, police reported.
The shooting occurred around 6:15 p.m. on North Evanston Avenue in Youngstown during an attempted robbery. The teen was taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center by private vehicle.
Officers recovered three spent 9mm casings at the scene. Capt. Jason Simon, Chief of Detectives, said the victim is in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
