One person injured following wrong-way crash in Ohio

OHIO — A man was seriously injured Saturday night after a wrong-way driver caused a crash in Dayton, according to a police crash report.

Emergency crews responded to the intersection of Hess and Brown Streets around 11:15 p.m. following reports of a collision.

Police say a 36-year-old woman was driving a 2011 silver Lexus IS the wrong way on Hess Street, which is a one-way street.

When she attempted to turn onto Brown Street, she struck a 2011 Ford Fusion at an unknown speed.

The 34-year-old man driving the Ford Fusion was transported to Miami Valley Hospital with serious injuries.

The woman was cited for driving the wrong way.
