OHIO — The Ohio State Fire Marshal and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) are assisting Euclid firefighters in investigating a vehicle explosion that occurred Tuesday evening.
Fire crews responded to Ardwell Drive around 5 p.m. to find a vehicle fully engulfed in flames.
One woman sustained minor burns and was transported to Euclid Hospital. She has since been released, officials said.
Firefighters confirmed that the fire was contained to the vehicle and did not spread to nearby homes or other vehicles.
The cause of the explosion remains under investigation.
