KANSAS — A woman was seriously injured Sunday afternoon after a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 in Wabaunsee County, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.

The crash occurred around 12:20 p.m. near mile marker 342.9 on eastbound I-70.

Authorities said a 2018 Nissan Armada was traveling eastbound when the vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway. The driver then overcorrected, causing the SUV to roll multiple times.

The driver, a 50-year-old woman from North Richland Hills, Texas, was transported to a local hospital with suspected serious injuries. Officials said she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating the incident.
