NORTH CAROLINA — A driver was hospitalized Tuesday afternoon after her car collided with a school bus carrying nine students, authorities said.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Pollock and Waddell streets in Selma. Officials confirmed that none of the students on board or the bus driver were injured.
The roadway was shut down for nearly an hour as first responders worked the scene and diverted traffic.
Tuesday’s collision is the fourth crash involving students in central North Carolina within the past week. No students were injured in any of the incidents.
