One person injured following vehicle crash in South Carolina

SOUTH CAROLINA — One person was injured Tuesday morning after a vehicle went off the road and into a ditch near Conway, according to Horry County Fire Rescue.

Emergency crews responded to the crash around 9:12 a.m. at the intersection of Alford Road and Stillpond Road.

The injured individual was transported to a nearby hospital by EMS.

Officials are asking drivers to avoid the area as crews continue to work at the scene.

No additional details have been released.
