SOUTH CAROLINA — One person was critically injured in a single-car crash Sunday morning on North Highway 57, according to Horry County Fire Rescue.
Rescue crews were dispatched to the scene around 4:57 a.m. The victim was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.
Authorities have asked drivers to avoid the area near North Highway 57 and Frank Gore Road, as lanes remain blocked.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
