
OHIO — The Ohio State Highway Patrol Lima post is investigating a single-vehicle crash that injured an Elida woman late Monday night on Interstate 75.
According to a news release from the Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 10:07 p.m. on northbound I-75 near the Napoleon Road exit. Jennifer Null, 37, was driving a 2020 Chevrolet Malibu when the vehicle veered off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail. The car then came to rest in the left lane of northbound traffic.
Troopers reported that Null was not wearing a seatbelt and was found unconscious at the scene. She was transported by Beaverdam-Richland EMS to Lima Memorial Health System for treatment of her injuries.
Northbound traffic on I-75 was rerouted onto Napoleon Road for approximately one hour while officers investigated the crash. Authorities said alcohol or drugs are not believed to be factors. The crash remains under investigation.
Assisting at the scene were the Allen County Sheriff’s Office, Beaverdam-Richland EMS and Fire Department, and Big Daddy’s Towing.
