FLORIDA — A two-car crash in Escambia County left a 53-year-old Pensacola woman with serious injuries on Nov. 24, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.
Troopers said an 83-year-old Pensacola man was driving a truck west on Quintette Road around 8 a.m. when he failed to yield to an SUV traveling south on County Road 95A while making a left turn.
The truck’s front right corner struck the SUV’s front left side.
After the collision, the truck stopped on the right shoulder of Quintette Road, while the SUV overturned and came to rest upside down in the southbound lane of County Road 95A.
The woman driving the SUV sustained serious injuries. Her current condition has not been released.
