OHIO — A Bellefontaine man was cited following a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 33 Wednesday afternoon, according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred just before 3:00 p.m. when Robert Shields, 27, was driving a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee westbound on U.S. 33, east of State Route 347.
Authorities say Shields lost control of the vehicle, which crossed the center line and median, striking a 2024 Dodge Ram traveling eastbound.
The Dodge Ram was driven by Laquarius Nelson, 25, of Eatonton, Georgia.
Shields was transported to Memorial Hospital in Marysville by Perry Emergency Medical Services with suspected minor injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
Shields was cited for failure to control. His vehicle was towed from the scene.
