
PENNSYLVANIA — Police are investigating after a man was stabbed early Thursday morning near a bus shelter in the Giant Eagle parking lot on Pittsburgh’s North Side.
Officers responded around 6 a.m. to the intersection of Cedar Avenue and Pressley Street in East Allegheny. They found a man with a stab wound to his back, who was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Police said a man fled the scene on foot with a woman. Using drones, officers located the suspect near the 16th Street Bridge and took him into custody. The woman was detained for questioning.
The investigation is ongoing.
