OKLAHOMA — Police are investigating after a person was found stabbed Monday morning in southwest Oklahoma City.
According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 1400 block of Southwest 34th Street. The location is in a residential neighborhood between Pennsylvania Avenue and Blackwelder Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found the victim lying in the front yard of a home. Police said the stabbing appeared to have stemmed from some type of altercation in the yard.
Authorities said the victim was unable to provide a description of the suspect or indicate where the person may have gone. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, but police did not immediately release information about the individual’s condition.
Investigators remained at the scene Monday morning, and the investigation is ongoing.
