NORTH CAROLINA — One person was seriously injured in a stabbing early Sunday morning in uptown Charlotte, according to emergency officials.
The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of East Trade and North Tryon streets, an area known as Independence Square.
MEDIC reported that the victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The circumstances leading up to the stabbing remain unclear, and authorities have not confirmed whether any arrests have been made.
