MARYLAND — A 15-year-old boy was stabbed Tuesday evening following an argument with a group of other teenagers at Maryvale Park, according to Rockville City Police.
Officers responded to the 800 block of First Street shortly after 7 p.m. and learned that a verbal dispute among a group of teen boys had escalated.
During the altercation, one individual pulled out an “edged weapon” and stabbed the 15-year-old.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Authorities have not disclosed what led to the argument, whether the teens knew each other, or how many individuals were involved. No suspect information has been released at this time.
