
GEORGIA — A man was hospitalized early Wednesday morning after being stabbed while attempting to break up a fight in DeKalb County, according to police.
Officers responded around 1 a.m. to the 2700 block of Tilson Road, a residential area, where they found the victim conscious and alert. He was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
According to authorities, the man told officers he was stabbed by one of the individuals involved in the argument he was trying to stop.
Police confirmed that one person was detained at the scene and was also taken to the hospital for unrelated injuries. The identities of those involved have not been released.
The incident remains under investigation. Authorities have not announced any charges at this time.
