ALABAMA — Police are investigating a stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning in Mobile, according to authorities.
The Mobile Police Department said officers responded around 3 a.m. to the area of Gaston Street in reference to an assault.
When officers arrived, they found a male suffering from a stab wound. He was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Investigators said it is unclear whether the incident occurred at that location or elsewhere.
No additional details about a suspect or what led to the stabbing have been released.
