One person injured following stabbing in Ohio

OHIO — A 38-year-old man was injured in a stabbing early Thursday morning in Dayton.

Police and medics responded to reports of a stabbing around 3:15 a.m. in the 1800 block of Emerson Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found the man with injuries he said occurred during an assault at another location, according to a Dayton Police spokesperson.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident remains under investigation by the Dayton Police Department’s Violent Offender Unit.
