OHIO — One man was hospitalized and another arrested following a stabbing early Friday morning at an apartment complex in Cheviot, according to police.
The incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on North Bend Road. Cheviot police responded to a report of a stabbing and found a man at the scene with a gash to his neck.
Authorities said the victim was conscious and able to provide the name and description of the suspect before being taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The suspect, identified as Danyou’ll Mimes, fled the scene on foot but was later found on Glenmore Avenue with assistance from a Cincinnati Police K9 unit.
Officers located Mimes hiding in a backyard and took him into custody.
Mimes was transported to the Hamilton County Justice Center and is facing charges of felonious assault and domestic violence.
