VIRGINIA — A juvenile was injured in a shooting Friday night in Henrico County’s East End, according to the Henrico County Police Division.
Officers responded to the 1400 block of Shirleydale Avenue around 7:35 p.m. for a report of a firearm violation. When they arrived, they found a juvenile who had been shot.
Henrico Fire transported the victim to a local hospital with injuries considered non-life-threatening.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident. Police have not released details about the circumstances of the shooting or the juvenile’s identity.
