
VIRGINIA — A man was hospitalized after being shot in the leg when his vehicle was struck by gunfire late Saturday night, according to Chesterfield County Police.
Officers responded around 11:15 p.m. on Aug. 23 to the area of Cogbill Road and Castlewood Road for reports of a shooting. Investigators said the man was inside a vehicle when shots were fired, striking both the car and the victim.
The man was taken by a third party to a local hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
