VIRGINIA — A man was taken to the hospital following a shooting in Henrico County on Wednesday evening.
Henrico Police responded to the 3700 block of Vawter Avenue around 5:10 p.m. on July 2 after receiving reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found an unidentified man suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Two vehicles believed to be connected to the incident were also located at the scene, though police have not released details about their involvement.
Authorities said there is no active threat to the public, and officers are not seeking additional suspects at this time.
